MTAC was pretty enjoyable, especially for my first one! I got some amazing shots from Rob, who was awesome to hang with, even if it was only for a short while. I had some good laughs there too! I'll just say that they involved exciting a certain R2 unit, as well as playing along with some Assassin's Creed cosplayers. The rave was awesome too! We ended up wearing our rave outfits on both Friday and Saturday night, as opposed to just during the rave. What made me laugh was that people thought we were actually from a series! I guess it was because we had an "x" theme going on, which made it seem worthy of being in an anime? I've no idea. It was cool though.

We had good roomies too! Both Greed and Envel stayed with us, and they made the weekend that much more enjoyable. I definitely will be rooming with them in the future! And not to mention that their cosplays were awesome. Watching Greed run around on Friday and Saturday while he messed with people in his Joker cosplay provided for some great laughs. Sadly though, a lot of people didn't play along or just seemed flat-out confused. Oh well. It was still funny. And Envel ended up winning best masters in the cosplay contest! She really deserved it too. If you looked at her cosplay up close and listened to her explain how she made it, your jaw would drop. Her craftsmanship is simply amazing, and I've yet to meet someone that can top her skill.

Concerning our cosplay schedule for the weekend, we originally planned to wear Ranka and Alto on Friday, Klan and Chaos on Saturday, and Yin and Hei on Sunday. However, it ended up being Klan and Chaos on Friday and Saturday morning-evening, Ranka and Alto on Saturday evening-night, and nothing on Sunday. It was actually kind of nice too. I was getting really tired of wearing those heals, and the boots I wear with Ranka are a LOT more comfortable. And while wearing those cosplays, we were able to participate in 2 photoshoots with Rob (Isamu85 of Cosplay.com), and the photos turned out absolutely stunning. I posted quite a handful of them in my gallery as well. We'll definitely be going to him for photos at future cons. His work is impeccable.

Concerning cosplays for the rest of the year, I have a few lined up. I'd like to get Klan's Zentradi flight suit done for Dragon*Con, and will be making my boyfriend's flight suit for Mikhail. We're also working on Iris Irine and Chaos' first outfit from Ragnarok, and will hopefully have those done for Metrocon. And I'm also working on a side project for nightime at cons I'll be attending, specially to adult panels and the like. I'll mention that later when I actually have progress. We have a few others planned, but probably won't get around to starting those until after AWA. I'll also be making a Vocaloid cosplay for both me and Steven, but I'm not sure if they'll be done by AWA. I'm drawn between Luka and Miku, but I'll decide by the time I get to start on it.

I won't be attending any cons between now and Metro, so I get to take a little break to sew and focus on working. If any of you will be attending Metro, D*C, or AWA, tell me so that I can look out for you, specially if you'll be cosplaying! I love making new friends. ^^

There will be a cosplay gathering hosted by the Peach State Cosplay Society on April 18th at Centennial Park here in Atlanta. Anyone who can make it should try to go! We'll be bringing Klan and (debuting!) Mikhail! I'm looking forward to taking pictures together, as well as with Katie and Mer~! Hope to see some of you guys there!
