I promise! Working on school work (Maymester is kicking my butt!), working full time, and trying to work on costumes in-between a move and frequent travel is quite difficult! Bear with me while I upload photos as I get them!

Shooting with some friends in Atlanta this weekend, so hopefully I'll have something to show for it! ｡ ◕ ‿ ◕｡

My next con will be SeishunCon and Dragon*Con, both in Atlanta! Hopefully I'll see some of you there~

I am really, really  bad at updating this journal. So I figured I would since I'm already on here right now.

Here's what I've been working on:



Tsukiyomi Utau from Shugo Chara! To be debuted at Cosplayers on Ice in December. I'll have photos almost immediately after the event, so I'm hoping updates will be super soon!

Other than that, I'm not working on anything. Trying to enjoy my time off from costuming for a bit. Though, I have some exciting plans for early next year!

Can't wait~

I have decided that I'll need to take costume-making down a notch for 2011, for many reasons:
- It put a heavy strain on my relationship in 2010
- I start classes in January, and have no idea what my work load will be like
- Unsure of how much time I'll have to dedicate to costume-making between work and school

So with those things said, here are my 99% confirmed plans for 2011. Subject to change, of course.

MOMOCON
Hanasaki Momoko - Wedding Peach DX
Something I've wanted to do for a while, and since Momocon is the first one of the year, I found it very fitting to do this for that con for 2 reasons: it's Jess' favorite anime series, and the name of the con is perfect. I just figured it would be a way to help me actually make this costume happen. Meredith and her 2 friends have decided to join me as the other 3 angels. Hopefully this will happen!! ♥

Zuko - Avatar: the Last Airbender
ZUKOOOO. I love him so much! Steve will be joining me as Ozai~

MEGACON
Takagi Saya - Highschool of the Dead
2 friends of Steven and I got into HSotD this year, and asked if we would do a group cosplay with them at Megacon. Of course we said yes! I'll be rewearing Rei's costume with a new Saya wig, probably distressing her outfit a bit.

SEISHUNCON
I'll be Cosplay Track Director, so something easily probably. Depending on what I've gotten finished, I'll rewear something new. Comfort is key.

DRAGONCON
*SECRET PLANS* - Will expose when I start.

Ariel - The Little Mermaid
I've never done a Disney Princess before, and Ariel's my favorite, so I'll do my best to make her pink dinner gown for this con. It looks like a lot of fun and shouldn't be too much work~

Theresa - Fable
Steven and I wanted to do another challenging duo together, so I told him to pick. Seeing as he is a huge Fable fan, he suggested we do two characters from the first game. I'll be doing young Theresa!

Chocolate - Sorcerer Hunters
With my darling Jo! Really excited to be doing another costume with her again!

ANIME WEEKEND ATLANTA
Blossom - Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z
My choice for1 of 3 of our Kamikaze Kiss group costumes. I'm excited to start on these as well!

Erza Scarlett - Fairy Tail
Megan's choice for Kamikaze Kiss. We plan to debut and wear these on Saturday of AWA. Lots of new techniques!

Sakurako Minase - Flyable Heart
Meru's choice for Kamikaze Kiss! Cute uniforms, sign me up! I do love sewing uniforms, so these should be fun!


I have a few other costumes in mind, especially ones I can do with Jo since I owe her a lot for all the ones she's done with me. It depends on if I get any extra time to make more. It'll be weird having to put costuming on the back-burner for school, though I'm sure it won't be as crazy drastic as I'm thinking.

A lot of the scheduling passed Metro is tentative, but the costumes listed will be happening for sure. I'd like to get a paid account on here, but LJ takes priority, so I post my progress there instead. If interested, just post a comment on my Friends Only entry and I'll most likely add you.

I had a photoshoot at Turner Broadcasting with the Director of Photography recently! I wore my micron!Klan to it (at his request) and should be getting the photos soon! I'm very excited to see the result, and I'll be sure to post them here~
